This week’s special episode features Partners Barry Vitou and Alan Sheeley, along with Associate Jenny Burton.
Alan Sheeley heads Pinsent Masons’ highly ranked Civil Fraud and Asset Recovery team. Last week, Barry and Jenny spoke to Alan about the Bilta (UK) Ltd v Royal Bank of Scotland Plc judgment which has recently been issued by the High Court, and which focussed on the issue of litigation privilege in the context of internal investigations. Alan was part of the Pinsent Masons’ team that successfully represented RBS.
The case is particularly interesting following on from last year’s SFO v ENRC High Court judgment (which is due to be appealed this summer).
