Psalms 59 was written when Saul pursued David. He wanted to kill David and sent men to come for him. David mentioned the evil desires of his enemies throughout this psalm, but he always goes back to God’s faithfulness. He looked to the Lord for the defense of his enemies. He trusted in him. His confidence remained in the God of Israel.
On his own he didn’t have hope, but with the Lord he knew that he could merely laugh at his challenges.
God is your defense. He is your high tower. He is your fortress. God will protect you against your trials and the enemies who come against you. He is the God who shows up and he cares about the details of your life. Do you believe that today?
In today's episode, Pastor David digs into this truth to bring you hope and to point you back to the only One who can work through our problems.
