Trey Jefferies passion for writing took root in the seventh grade when his English teacher recognized his talent for writing and provided a little encouragement that he still remembers to this day. 

Although Trey has a full-time job, he pursues his passion for writing through his blog, The Simple Cowboy, as well as writing his first children's book, Starr's Wonderful Discovery. 

During our visit, he shares how he combines his passion for writing and communicating in his professional life and through his writing. He also shares why it's important not to fear failure.

The concept of the book will resonate with children who want to build friendships, establish belonging and recognize the importance of surrounding themselves with a community of friends who supports them!
