Many of us get stranded in our faith between the Red Sea and the Jordan River in our faith journey. We've been delivered from our sins (symbolized by the Red Sea) but we've only glimpsed the promise land from a distance. God wants to bring us across the Waters of Inheritance into a new identity where we throw off our old identity as slaves to sin and live into our new identity as the Children of God.
