We’re joined by an American original. Resonator and lap steel guitar master Jerry Douglas has made an immeasurable influence on country, bluegrass, Americana and traditional music. As a leader, accompanist or solo, Jerry Douglas has created some truly remarkable recordings and performances.

A 14 time Grammy award-winner, respected musician, record producer, composer and recording artist, Americana legend Willis Alan Ramsey said this about him, “Jerry Douglas, for decades now has taken the Dobro into whole new areas of discovery.”

He’s also recorded with a variety of artists: Paul Simon, Lyle Lovett, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Alison Krauss, James Taylor, Ray Charles, Tommy Emmanuel, in fact you can hear Jerry Douglas’s playing on more than 1,500 albums.
