This week we are joined by Jordan's son Michael who has been diagnosed with Autism. He has been celebrating Autism awareness month and been begging to come on to talk about his experience. He has a heart to show the world what his "normal" looks like, and has a desire to encourage those with Autism to celebrate it with him. The theme these year for Autism Awareness Month is #CelebrateDifferences and that is what he has been doing! Many questions were asked, and many weren't, but we had a good time discussing his experience and things that he has learned on this journey. National Autism Awareness Month 2020 in United States began on Wednesday, April 1 and ends on Thursday, April 30.

Children and adults with autism spectrum disorder often care deeply but lack the ability to spontaneously develop empathic and socially connected typical behavior. Individuals with ASD often want to socially interact but lack the ability to spontaneously develop effective social interaction skills.
