It's the next episode of the pod with the fantastic Karen.
Karen was my Airbnb host after a workshop I delivered that no-one showed up to. She was exceptionally kind, helpful and made the entire trip more valuable than I could ever have imagined.
Karen is a phenomenal soul whose life was completely transformed by the heartbreaking loss of her son. In the wake of this unimaginable pain, she found herself feeling isolated and deeply hurt, unable to fully be there for her youngest child when they needed her most. It was during this difficult and fragile time that Karen began a journey of self-reflection.
Now, Karen pours everything she’s learned into her work as a wellbeing practitioner, supporting parents of neurodivergent children. Her mission is simple but powerful: to create environments where people feel connected, understood, and treated with the humanity they deserve
Find out more about Karen on her website here and stay at her Airbnb here. Look out for Ronni, support the podcast, order the book, and sponsor a virtual coffee here.
Book a coffee with a stranger and find out more about the project and the amazing people doing similar things here.
Thank you to all the supporters well as to the amazing band Bukahara for their permission to use their fabulous, on point song 'Storytelling Animal' as our soundtrack.
The World is Storytelling podcast is based on the book by the same name. Written by Arjen Barel, Ronni Gurwicz, and Stu Packer, it is the definitive guide to how sharing stories can be used for social impact and personal growth.
