57 | Practice Gratitude Like A Religion And Set Boundaries Religiously

You may have heard this time and time again, but the absolute truth is that being grateful changes your life for the better. Practicing gratitude like a religion everyday, many times a day, maybe even all day, changes the way you move through life and calls into your life all of the good feelings you may be seeking and not finding right now. It is so easy, it is free, and it is a powerful truth you can experience immediately that when you express gratitude for the life you have no matter how hard things are, you will shift from a place of fear to a place of feeling good and being okay no matter what is going on. Another important reminder especially during this time of year is to set boundaries with others and with yourself and stick to them. It can be very uncomfortable, can change relationships, and can feel hard to do but once you do... You will feel so free, so light, and so glad that you were brave enough to do it. These things are truly gifts you can give yourself. They are all that I want for Christmas, I can tell you that! The poem I reference is called I thank you God by e.e. cummings.
