Today was a really good day... why? Because I decided it was going to be.

.

I woke up and got my head right- meditated, read, journaled and felt light and excited.

.

I brought that energy downstairs to the kids and they felt it too.

.

We had a blast, which reminded me of a quote my dad just shared with me on the topic.

.

Yes there were tears and big 3 year old feelings. Yes the day started wayyy better than it ended. BUT I get to choose how I respond because my happiness comes from within.

.

And so for me... it was a really good day!
