Tony turns 57 and realizes something surprising — out of all those birthdays, he only remembers a few.
One involved turning 13 with chicken pox, covered head-to-toe in calamine lotion while everyone insisted it was “good to get it out of the way.”
Another was 21, the birthday where legal drinking was supposed to be life-changing… until it turned into a cold Monday night in Boston and a questionable road trip toward New Hampshire following two women who weren’t even in the same car.
Somewhere 47 minutes into that drive, the alcohol wore off and a McDonald’s Happy Meal sounded like a far better idea.
In this episode Tony talks about:
• The strange birthdays we remember
• Why turning 21 isn’t always what you expect
• The questionable decisions we survive in our 20s
• Why Flintstones vitamins may actually be the key to longevity
• And the realization that birthdays aren’t really about getting older
They’re about outlasting your bad ideas.
If you’ve made it this far in life, you’ve got a story too.
