On the face of it, I think most parents would agree that this makes sense, yes? But do you do it because many of us, inadvertently do too much for our kids? I know that there are times where I have done this with or for my kiddos. Sure, I realize that it all depends on the definition of too much. However, I really try my utmost to make sure my wanting to “fix it” for them does not become debilitating for them and negatively impact what they think of themselves because it can all too easily become so.
