Happy Ending 6/29/03 : 6/30/03

the airlock is opening
the fire is spreading thru
the train is off the tracks
the sky lands on its feet
so very prone for reasons unknown
i could break like a mind
that has forever to blame
tomorrow to look forward
and more thoughts backwards
when all was well, swell, and certainly better
wakes up to the fresh smell of orange juice
AND TOASTED BREAD
now his briefcase carries his afternoon's fair share as he is voted office earthworm
his adoring wife framed on top of his desk where if you look inside
nudie mags and a business card of his weekly ritual
a drink at the pub
a drive without a sound
the pounding of his horn and he enters the waiting room
smiling and sweating as if he didn't get any sleep
