#58: Concierge

Listen Later

Who are the ancillary-- but unnoticed-- characters of our own lives? The Cru provide their answers in fictional form on this week's episode.  Stories begin around the 12:45 mark and include a childhood memory; a quest for pure beauty; a day in a gas station; and a psychedelic trip that gets less trippy as the protagonist imbibes in more drugs.
From Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable
Concierge. The doorkeeper or porter of a block of flats in France, traditionally a middle-aged or elderly woman who makes it her business to know every detail of her residents' private lives and who marks every coming and going.
