With names like "El Comegente" (The People Eater)and "The Hannibal Lecter of The Andes", we knew we had to research the story of Dorángel Vargas (thanks to our friend Luis for the suggestion!) Vargas was a homeless man living in a park in San Cristobal, Venezuela who would hunt and eat men who passed by. Although his name is not as well known here in the States, he has still inspired some well known pop culture!
