We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. Now we turn to a rather familiar passage and try to incorporate previous discoveries into more how the original audience may have understood this famous miracle. In this episode we continue to break down Mark's account of Jesus's walking on the sea. Here, we focus on Mark 6:48 and the phrase that Jesus saw them when he was praying on the mountain alone. Considering our previous episodes on the importance of mountains cosmologically, this plays well in with those sessions on Sacred Spaces in the Bible. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives.
