In this episode I share words from the Eastern mystic about the right attitude of the therapist.
As a therapist, I've struggled a lot with how to help someone without taking their own way, and without disturbing anyone with unsolicited advice. As a doctor I was trained in giving advice. And giving advice is something that everyone wants to give, but no one wants to receive. Unless you ask yourself. I stand for the way of the Tao. And it's a life path for me to get closer and closer to that. In this episode Osho talks about the way of the Tao and the right way to help. Osho speaks in a way that brings you into meditation; slowly, and with unexpected pauses. In those pauses you wait for the next word, and that brings you into meditation. Because in that waiting your thoughts don't stand a chance.
These words from Osho you can find in the book: Tao The Pathless Path Vol1_8A.
