Dear Parents,

We’re going to have a great upcoming week. Below is a short description of what’s coming up and important links and/or announcements:

Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast

Online Permission Slips

  • Monday and Tuesday there will be no school for students. Wednesday will be online. Students will be coming to Woodbury in-person on Thursday and Friday.
  • Updated Return to School Plan
  • Read These Books! (make a goodreads.com account with your child to help find books)
  • We will be starting the DARE program soon with Officer D’Alena. She needs you to approve your child’s participation in the DARE program.  Click here to fill out the permission slip.

    • Reader’s Workshop

    We will continue our unit “Bring Characters and Stories to Life”. The kids will practice acting out scenes and bringing vivid mental movies to life.

    Writer’s Workshop

    The kids will continue to improve their opinion writing as we practice writing reviews.

    Math

    Math Answers and Help Here

    The kids will continue reviewing fractions operations.

    History

    No History this week. Much of the extra time this week will be spent discussing expectations and practicing routines for in-person learning.

    Science

    The kids will work with Mr. Nelson in science lab and learn about expectations for in-person science lab learning.
