#58 - WTF Is Trauma with Gita Klaus
Gita Klaus, aka The Pottymouth Guru, hails from Toronto Ontario originally, but has since migrated to Newfoundland and Labrador, a small island on the east coast of Canada.
Her background is originally in the performing arts, which she still does, and 10 years ago she followed another calling to be of service.
She is trained as a trauma informed psychotherapist and Reiki practitioner, specializing in inner child/reparenting work, sub-personality work and reframing automatic negative thoughts.
During covid, her brand "The Pottymouth Guru, was finally born after coming to her in a meditation 6 years prior during a healing period after a difficult breakup.
She combines her education in psychology and healing, her special brand of humour and authenticity to form an accessible approach to mental health. And, of course, with a pottiest of mouths.
Her mission is to help people learn how to unfuck themselves, become architects of their own lives, minds and live their authentic truths with more joy.
