Tinkl-tinkling, played in a zither seven-stringed,

静听松风寒。
Listening still, I feel cold wind through the pine.

古调虽自爱，
Though the olden tunes are my own treasures,

今人多不弹。
While nowadays,more of the zitherists decline.
