After a lifetime as a competitive athlete, Kyle Coon is taking on his toughest challenge yet — to compete in the 2021 Paralympics in Tokyo as a blind triathlete.

I had so many questions for him. How does someone who is completely blind compete in a triathlon? Well, Kyle is the man to talk to. He’s completed marathons, Ironmans, the RAAM (The Race across America) and many others.

While he isn’t the first blind person to climb a mountain, run a marathon or compete in a triathlon, his goal is to be one of the best and ensure he isn’t the last.
