Today, I will be diving into the importance of Lent and how that important time period can shape our walk with the Lord and grow us in deeper love for those around us. Matthew 4, Mark 1, and Luke 4 give us a look at how Jesus was tempted by Satan and continued to fast for 40 days and 40 night. In Matthew 6, we get to see what God calls us to when considering fasting, prayer, and giving. We will also look at the Lord's prayer to help us have a deeper understanding of these concepts.
