Years ago I decided to read the Old Testament all the way through. I had never finished reading it as a youth. It took me some time but I felt a deep gratitude for the time I spent studying the words of the prophets. I thought about the importance of the bible in the last days and why we need to be studying the words of God to all of his people. The bible spreads light and hope in this world.

Article Faith #8 ​We believe the ​​​Bible​ to be the ​​​word​ of God as far as it is translated ​​​correctly​; we also believe the ​​​Book of Mormon​ to be the word of God.

Mormon 7: 9 For behold, this is written for the intent that ye may believe that; and if ye believe that ye will believe this also; and if ye believe this ye will know concerning your fathers, and also the marvelous works which were wrought by the power of God among them.
