Reader’s Workshop

We will continue our unit “Bring Characters and Stories to Life”. The kids will practice and learn to make higher-level predictions and pay attention to details that signal character change.

Writer’s Workshop

The kids will continue to improve their opinion writing as we practice writing reviews. We will revise the writing by practice hooks, providing more convincing reasons, and add quotes.

Math

Math Answers and Help Here

The kids will continue finish reviewing fractions operations.We will review our last decimal unit and take a basic skills test covering what we’ve done over the last month.

History

We will start studying our first civilization (Ancient Mesopotamia).

Science

The kids will work with Mr. Nelson in science lab and learn about expectations for in-person science lab learning. We may use our science workbook to start a unit on human body systems.
