Quick question: if I say “South America”… what pops into your head? Brazil. Argentina. Maybe that one cousin who did ayahuasca once and won’t shut up about Peru. 

But there’s a country up there that’s basically South America’s “hidden track”; Suriname. It’s giving rainforest, Dutch, insane cultural mix, and a capital city that looks like it time travelled from a colonial postcard.
