5th grade teacher Haley Becker joins the show. Haley is in her first year teaching and actually did her student teaching in my 4th grade classroom in the Fall of 2021. As I have looped with my students from last year into 5th grade this year, I have been fortunate enough to work on the 5th grade team with Haley this school year at Lincoln Elementary. It has been quite a unique journey as we've both learned how to teach 5th grade throughout this school year. We talk about takeaways from her student teaching experience and she details some great tips for new teachers and educators who are beginning to make their way into the education field.
