My name is Willem Stockman, and I'm an anesthesiologist-intensivist at AZ Delta Hospital in Roeselare, Belgium. I'm here to speak about the use of ultrasound as a guidance tool for placing central venous lines and arterial lines—a technique that has become increasingly essential in modern critical care practice.

What I truly appreciate about this congress is that it's not just about learning new information, approaches, and techniques. A key part of the experience is the opportunity to connect with colleagues.

During the breaks, we have the chance to catch up, exchange ideas, and discuss the different practices and technologies used in other centers. Whether it's comparing clinical approaches or simply reconnecting with friends, the networking and shared experience make this meeting especially valuable.
