On 5th September, some of the interesting events that took place were: 1888 - S Radhakrishnan was born on 5th September 1888 to a Telugu Brahmin family in Tiruttani in Tamil Nadu. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great philosopher and statesman was the second President and the first Vice-President of India. 1960 - Muhammad Ali on 5th September in 1960 Rome Olympics won Gold medal in  in light heavy weight division.  https://chimesradio.com
