David has been a trainer, coach, and designer of educational processes for over 20 years. He has served as a Senior Training and Education Analyst for the University of Pennsylvania and has provided consulting services to a diverse list of clients, including American Express, AT&T, Yale University, University of California, and New York University. In addition, David is a consulting partner for the Corporation for Positive Change, a pioneering firm in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, a methodology that aligns individual and organizational strengths to unleash optimism, purpose, and unprecedented engagement.
David moved to Philadelphia in 2011 after meeting the love of his life, Cantor Elizabeth Shammash. Despite being in a happy and fulfilling relationship, David was lonely, finding it difficult to create deep, meaningful community in his new city. In an effort to get past the small talk, David began hosting Authentic Relating Games events, which consist of carefully crafted processes designed to produce deep, meaningful human connections. David's events are sometimes affectionately referred to as "Love Soup" because of the profound sense of peace that is often felt among the group. David facilitates these events for the general public, for couples, and within organizations.
