1. Faith In God Gives Us Power

• ADMIT YOU NEED GOD’S POWER

“My [the Lord’s] grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9

• LINE UP WITH GOD’S PURPOSES

I [Jesus] am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. - John 15:5

• PRAY FOR POWER

2. Faith In God Gives Us Love

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. - 1 John 4:18

We love because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:19

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. - 1 John 4:20
