In today’s video, we are going to talk about 6 advantages of being a business analyst!
1. No coding required:
Most people think that to get into Information Technology you have to be some type of coding guru. What they need to realize is that many professions in IT don’t require you to know any coding and being a business analyst is one of them.
2. You can work from home:
A lot of IT jobs can be done remotely, especially right now with the pandemic; the majority of companies are turning to remote work. Being a Salesforce business analyst also holds the security of not losing your job during a lockdown.
3. You can earn a good income:
Let’s me give you some stats
As you can on the screen, a Salesforce business analyst makes in average $104K each year
Here is a recent survey from Mason Frank International, global leaders in Salesforce recruitment, presenting a comparison between Salesforce salaries in the US versus salaries in the UK
The numbers in blue are the Salaries for senior Salesforce business analysts, which are people with at least 7 years of experience, and the number in gray are for junior business analysts.
You can see the comparisons, $131k in the USA versus 67k euro in the UK. I am sure that you’ll agree with me that these numbers are quite impressive. Yet, the main take that I want you to recognize from these numbers is the fact that there is no better time than right now to become a Salesforce business analyst.
4. You can get a visa sponsorship:
Business analysts are one of the few professions that qualify for the H1b visa program. The H1B visa is the authorization given by the US government for a foreign worker to work for a US company. If you are a foreigner wanting to come to the US, or an international student eager to stay in the US after graduation, this might just be the solution for you.
5. You can work in multiple domains:
As a business analyst, you can work in multiple areas such as finance, insurance, healthcare, criminal justice, and more. If you already have experience in a particular domain, it serves as an additional advantage.
6. No certification required:
Having a certification is not required when working as a business analyst. Experience is the most important factor when it comes to IT jobs. Certification might increase your competitiveness in the job market, but it is not mandatory. Most companies only care about whether or not you can do the job.
