6: Being your authentic self and avoiding negative peer comparison

Listen Later

Since an early age, most of us have competed in sports, education, and other activities. Many times this competitiveness leads to negative peer comparison… “My job vs. their job”, “My kids are in regular soccer, their kids are in advanced.”, “They seem to have everything, and I can’t pull myself together.” During this episode, Kajsa Berlin Kaufusi - Chief Operating Officer of ARISE (Project for Humanity) and Adjunct  Professor at BYU explains how focusing on our negative peer comparison emotions will adversely impact a career, a person’s happiness, and what we can do to combat the negativity.
