Deuteronomy is a review of God's work in the lives of the Children of Israel and was preparing them for the dangers that would be in front of them as they entered the promised land. Our verse is Deuteronomy 6:5: "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength” (NKJV). Moses directs the people to the importance of following the LORD, and to trust in the promise of the coming Savior, who would be like Moses, but greater than Moses. Don't forget what the LORD has done and has promised to do for you!
