Evan lacked a consistent father figure throughout his childhood.  After growing up with three different fathers, he carried a lot of wounds and hurt into adulthood. Through years of encouragement from an older mentor, Evan was able to forgive his biological father and believe that God is the perfect father he always needed. God brought Evan's story full circle when he began a relationship with a single mom whose daughters also needed a father.
