6: How To Find Your Purpose in Life | Simeon Ivanov on 0.1%
Three years ago, I was running my own business, making more than $15m a year, working with an incredible team... and still I felt like sh*t. That's when I realized I needed to find my purpose in life.
But, how do you find your purpose in life, when most of the advice out there is complete bs? I read a ton of books, went to a lot of live seminars, took a lot of online courses. And slowly but surely, I started getting some great ideas. After investing more than a year and over $10,000 I finally built a little system that would give birth to my first real project with purpose in life - writing the 0.1% book.
When I was done with the book, I ran all my new thoughts through that same system and this time, the new purpose project that was born through it was the 0.1% Podcast.
Throughout this few year journey, I had some incredible business opportunities. Opportunities that could potentially make billions of dollars. Needless to say, my old-self was hungry for such ventures and power. So, I forgot to use my system and I jumped into those business projects blindly. A few months later (thank we didn't get too far with those businesses, I opened my eyes and realized those businesses had no purpose behind them. At least not for me. They were the farthest from my life purpose they could possibly be. So, I stepped back and went on with doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
This life purpose system works not only to uncover your mission in life. It actually sets you up for success. It creates unique competitive advantages that you wouldn't have otherwise. It's my favorite tool that I use every couple of months to come up with awesome business ideas and to continue uncovering new purpose projects in my life.
Use it! Don't waste more time working on projects that are not your purpose. Life is short. You deserve to be happy.
