The movie Diner expertly captures both the feeling of being a young guy on the cusp of adulthood and those cloudy days between Christmas and New Year. Times when nothing important seems to be happening...until you look at them in retrospect. My friend and pop culture expert Ken Mottet and I both hold this film in high esteem, and so we end out a year of our lives talking about it. Ken will be on again, but this is his first one.
