Le Trouble, as their name suggests, are not playing it totally safe. While they embrace a pop sensibility there is something underneath their hooky tunes that is careening a little close to the edge. Although their EP Reality Strikes is infinitely hummable, nothing about their sound is overly formulaic or easy to put in a box. They are a band that is finding their legs and when they put out a full album, I think they’ll hit the ground running.
