Once, "Cropsey" was just an urban legend; the boogeyman of Staten Island. Cropsey was rumored to be a homicidal madman with a hook for a hand who delighted in hunting children and dragging them back to the tunnel system that lay under the abandoned ruins of the old Seaview Hospital. His story was told around the campfire to frighten impressionable children and drunken adults.

But, there's just one thing. The boogeyman doesn’t exist, right?

That’s what we all were told as kids. What happens when the residents of Staten Island are forced to confront that maybe...just maybe, the boogeyman is real and he really was hunting children.
