Nicole La Ha is quickly becoming one of my favorite colleagues in the Illinois House. There’s really no other way to say it—she’s a total boss. In 2018 she won an international humanitarian award, in 2022 she won the Mrs. America pageant, and in 2023 she was appointed to her current position an Illinois State Representative. She was a dental hygienist by trade but she put her career to the side to focus on being a mom and advocating for special needs children like her beautiful daughter Ashlynn.
