I was lucky enough to view an incredible interview with the inspiration, Sarah Blakeley, this weekend and I have to share! 

For those who don't know Sarah was the first female billionaire and the founder of Spanx.  Many of us think she was in the right place at the right time with the right product,  but it was far from it. 

There are so many things we can learn from determined women like Sarah.  I want to share just one of these today:

Complexity is the biggest killer of progress 

What's the one simple step you've been overcomplicating?  

We look at how Sarah came to get Spanx in a major department store. 
How she took a simple step, which other's were overcomplicating.

And when it doesn't go well - keep trying, and try try agian. 

I want you to think what are you overcomplicating that's sabotaging your progress. 

Maybe you want help from your employer to fund some training.
Perhaps you want a promotion, you keep being overlooked. 
You'd like exposure to a new role.
Maybe there's a company you would love to work for.

I know I've been overcomplicating one of my goals. There's a couple of podcasts I love and really want to be a guest and in my head, I'm overcomplicating the process. Why don't I just pick up the phone and ask? or at least introduce myself.
