Richard O’Neill MBE is an acclaimed storyteller, author, playwright and educator from northern England. Raised in a nomadic Romani family, he champions inclusion through storytelling. A professor, literacy advocate and award-winning writer, O’Neill co-founded Diverse Book Week and Trails of Tales. He leads on creativity for the National Centre for Children's Books.
