Today we look at the 5 cycles of judgment that God promised would come to Israel if they disobeyed the Mosaic covenant. From this passage in Leviticus we see that this is exactly what happened in the history of Israel, as God graciously gave the nation time to repent, yet they would not. Realizing this process helps us to understand what is happening as Amos relays God's judgment to the disobedient nation.
