This week we are tugging our ear right off of our head because we are talking about: The Selection by Kiera Cass

The Selection is the first out of five books in this futuristic young-adult series. If you are familiar with The Hunger Games and The Bachelor this book is the illegitimate offspring of the two, but still somehow missing the mark. It's very silly but also, quite fun to read. We had a lot of fun discussing this book, in fact, this may be our funniest episode to date.

This episode contains some light riffing (not at all to be taken in a disrespectful way), some re-writing with how we wish the series would go, some internet sleuthing, some predictions, and some all around minor to moderate spoiling for not only this first book but for the series as a whole. (Even though we have only read this first book..*cough* Missy *cough*) So whether this book was part of your childhood, still a favorite, or completely new to you we hope you give it a listen and enjoy!
