6. trauma & why talk therapy isn't enough: healing on a mind, body & soul level

Listen Later

In today’s episode, we’re opening up a deep and important conversation about trauma. Not just what it is, but how it impacts us on every level of our being: mind, body, and soul.

This isn’t a clinical breakdown or a surface-level discussion. This is a soft and honest space to explore how trauma shapes the way we think, how it lives in the body, and how it can disconnect us from who we truly are at a soul level. We’re diving into the real, lived experience of trauma, the kind that doesn’t always come from one big event, but from the moments we didn’t feel safe, loved, or held.

I’ll share parts of my own journey, including how trauma shaped my life long before I had the words for it, and how it eventually led to chronic fatigue. You’ll hear how survival-based beliefs, emotional pain, and nervous system dysregulation often show up in our everyday lives, and what it really looks like to begin healing.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve done the work but still feel stuck, this episode will help you understand why. Because true healing asks us to tend to all parts of us. Not just the mind, not just the body, but also the soul.

This is your reminder that you are not broken. That your trauma is not your fault. That healing is possible, and it begins by gently coming home to yourself.

If you’re ready to be held in this conversation, press play. And if you haven’t yet, I invite you to listen to Episode 4, where we explore the missing piece to your healing and why mind, body, and soul work is essential to your journey.
