Netflix is doubling down on original content and when you pay big money to Ryan Reynolds and Michael Bay you are guaranteed several things and it isn’t necessarily a great Oscar worthy story.

It’s not about how many things were wrong about this movie; it’s about managing expectations. I am not sure who greenlit this endeavor but I will have to say they wanted all the action none of the emotional connection to characters, and none of the plot building you would want in a movie.
