Superstitions. Where do they come from? Why do we follow them so religiously? Why have some become more thoughtless rituals than occasional observances? The girls aim to answer these questions and get a better understanding on superstitions on this week's episode. They explore the origins of some of the most adhered traditions that began their journey as regional superstitions. They also list some of the daily rituals we observe today without a second pensive thought as to why we perform them, and provide some cultural specific ones that have been passed down through generations in their heritage. Through this, they find that superstitions, like most folklore, were verbal vessels intended to pass down information from generation to generation when reading and writing were not traits readily accessible to everyone.  The information and knowledge from our ancestors was guised at times under what may seem like ridiculous independent clauses, but when broken down, display valued, and at times, life saving information. So the next time you observe superstitions, pay attention to the value it may bring to your life.
