Church hurt and burnout is a reality in our broken world that has gripped nearly everyone at some point in their lives. They can be disorienting, exhausting, and traumatizing, and often leave us gasping for the air of God’s comfort and constancy (if we don’t run away from Him altogether). 

Emily has experienced her fair share of church hurt and burnout. Yet through God’s faithfulness, has walked with Him through healing and restoration. Hers is a story of God’s grace and relentless pursuit as He first pulled her out of the domain of darkness into His glorious light, and then molded and shaped her heart more into the image of Jesus amidst intense trials in the refiner’s fire.
