Join Brady in episdoe #60 of Hockey 2 Heroin Road 2 Recovery as he is joined live by NCAA alumni Matt Climie. Climie and Leavold faced off against each other several times in the ECHL during the 2009 season. After that Leavold went on a path of drug addiction which has been well documented over the past couple of months and obviously through out his podcast. Climie's career went the other direction.After facing off against Leavold in the ECHL, Climie made the jump the show. The Dallas Stars gave him the call and the Leduc Alberta native fulfilled his dream of playing in the NHL. Though Climie only saw limited action, it did not stop him from having a tremendously successful career in both the AHL and over seas.Leavold and Climie connect for the first time and get into some important issues. Climie hits home with some personal stories, this is a podcast for everyone! We are all touched but mental health and addiction in some form. Either personally or through someone close to us. Climie's courage to share some of his own struggles as well as his brothers is something for us all to look towards.
