Yes, I understand that keeping confidentiality within every Black household should ALWAYS be high on the list of priorities. I’m not naive. There’s an abundance of people that would not ONLY like to laugh at your pain, but would probably work to use it against you in the future.
But the problem is, by keeping internal family issues kept in the proverbial closet, it allows the “sins of the family” to be a perpetual virus that almost ALWAYS eats away at the moral nucleus of the family members as time goes by.
And today’s topic is EASILY Exhibit A.
