Simpson's independent student newspaper, The Simpsonian, turns 150 years old this month. Founded on Oct. 1, 1870, by eight students, The Simp has been the center of the Simpson Experience for thousands of alumni over the past 15 decades, including leading national journalists and winners of the Pulitzer Prize. Adviser Mark Siebert joins the podcast this week, along with current Editor Alyssa Craven and alumna Steffi Lee, '15, who worked in television news in Iowa, Texas and Alaska before returning to Iowa to attend Drake Law School.
