Caitlyn Baten, and her husband Tim, started the process to become foster parents over two years ago and I have learned so much about what foster care and adoption looks like on a day-to-day basis through them. In this episode, Caitlyn tells their story of the two girls they have welcomed into their home so far, plus what she's learned along the way such as what not to say to foster parents, recognizing a hero complex, and supporting biological families well.
